The work was shown in the frame of HGB Leipzig and ASAP Athens collaboration, p_o_s__t-documenta, and is a part of my Private Mythology. It is an endeavor to articulate the personal and biographical through symbols and narratives rooted in mythologies, which are shared to Mediterranean and Western cultures.
In this installation, presented in Leipzig in nyg | west, I refer to the biblical promise for fertility and plentitude. Here, that promise takes a radical shift. Reduced to a few symbolically charged elements, the work calls into question the meaning of such promises and expectations.
